How we handle your data.
Who we are
Expand Media is a marketing agency working with golf clubs in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal information described on this page.

What we collect
We only collect what you give us, plus the technical basics any website receives.
- When you use our enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number, the club you represent, and anything you write in the message.
- When you email or call us: your contact details and the content of that correspondence.
- Automatically: your IP address, browser type and the pages you view, through standard server logs and the third-party services listed in our Cookie Policy.
We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not collect special category data.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis

How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for TO CONFIRM: e.g. 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client. Client records are kept for the length of the engagement and then for TO CONFIRM: e.g. 6 years for tax purposes. After that they are deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete it, where there is no good reason for us to keep it;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- transfer it to another provider; and
- withdraw consent at any time, where consent is what we relied on.

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be made clear.
