Cookie Policy
Cookies, and your choice.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website asks your browser to store. Similar technologies, like a browser's local storage, do much the same job. This page explains which ones this site uses, what they do, and how you control them.
Nothing loads until you choose
We set no cookies and contact no third-party trackers until you accept them. When you first arrive you are asked to accept or decline. Until you answer, and permanently if you decline, none of the third-party services listed below are loaded at all.
The only thing we store before you decide is your decision itself, once you have made it. That is kept in your browser's local storage under the name em-cookie-consent. It never leaves your device, and it is what stops us asking again on every page.
If you accept
Accepting loads our enquiry form, which is provided by LeadConnector (GoHighLevel). That service and its security provider set the following:
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare, via leadconnectorhq.com | Tells human visitors apart from bots so the form is not abused. Needed for the form to work. | 30 minutes |
| em-cookie-consent | Expand Media (this site) | Remembers whether you accepted or declined. Stored in your browser only. | Until you clear it |
Loading the form also causes your browser to contact connect.facebook.net (Meta), backend.leadconnectorhq.com, stcdn.leadconnectorhq.com and challenges.cloudflare.com. These requests share your IP address and the page you are on with those companies, and Meta may use them for advertising measurement. This is the main reason we ask before loading the form.
Services used on every visit
A small number of services are needed to render the site itself. These set no cookies, but your browser does request files from them, which means your IP address is visible to them:
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) — the typefaces the site is set in.
- jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net) — the animation library used for page motion.
- unpkg (unpkg.com) — the smooth-scrolling library.
We do not use Google Analytics, or any advertising or profiling cookies of our own.
Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. That clears your stored decision and asks again.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the ones our enquiry form needs, the form will not load — but you can still reach us by email or phone, and we show those details in its place.
